Full body philosophy

Shoulders? Check. Legs? Check. Full body? Check - every day.

I completely understand the reasoning behind splitting up your training days (i.e., focusing on your lower body one day and your upper body the next day). It allows for muscle recovery while still keeping you active and is great for intense workouts where you’re lifting heavy and/or putting in a high volume of repetitions. And if going to the gym on your own time is your jam, splitting up what you train makes complete sense. If you’re going to studio classes at scheduled times on set days? Splitting up training days just isn’t realistic.

Every class at the studio is a balanced, full body workout. Why? I recognize that not everyone’s schedules allow for 6 days of studio classes every single week. So on the days you can make it to a class, I think it should be a comprehensive workout that leaves you feeling strong and accomplished. And that’s why every class is a full body workout with a cooldown/long stretch at the end.

It’s a full body philosophy every day at the studio 🦵💪
